| CLEARING
TALENT PROCEDURE |
Under AFTRA Codes, it is the duty of the
producer to know the standing of the talent with the union.
The producer may use talent in good standing with the
union (paid up member) or a talent who has never worked
in AFTRA's jurisdiction (a Taft-Hartley). Talent who are
not in good standing may also work, but, if they do not
correct their standing, the producer will have a Union
Security Violation.
